Intro
Yeah... 305, 954... stripes on my feet, let's go
Verse 1
County heat got the asphalt breathing Section 8 dreams in a pair of three stripes Jit on the corner selling hope by the box Adidas box full of futures, not just kicks Broward Boulevard to Opa-Locka flights Same stripes my uncle rocked when he was sliding Same stripes my mama bought when she was grinding Now I'm moving different, every step reminding
Chorus
Adidas on my feet, I'm moving different Three stripes for the scars, three stripes for the vision From the bean to the beach, global with the mission South Florida raised, but the world my dominion Adidas on my feet, keep stepping, no submission Performance in the pain, innovation in the friction Individual in the game, but the culture my religion Adidas on my feet, this the real-life rendition
Verse 2
Weight on my shoulders like the bag full of samples Block full of ghosts in the same damn sandals Lost homies to the streets, lost dreams to the gamble But the stripes still clean when the world try to trample Mama worked doubles just to cop 'em fresh Said "Boy, these ain't just shoes, these the steps to your best" County raised me hard, 954 stress But every time I lace 'em up, I feel the ancestors
Verse 3
Then one day the mirror showed a different reflection Stripes on my soul, not just for collection From show to the court, from the block to protection Movement ain't just motion, it's resurrection Felt the pain in the sole, turned it into direction Adidas on my feet taught me forward progression No more standing still in the county depression Now every step a statement, every stride a confession
Verse 4
Now I'm sliding through the city like the stripes on the side 305 to the world, watch the legend come alive Wordplay sharper than the cleats on the field Punchlines hit harder than the pain that I feel From the park to the pitch, from the gym to the grind Adidas on my feet, this the comeback design No more playing small, I'm the whole damn league South Florida raised me, now the world gotta see
Verse 5
To every jit in the county rocking scuffed-up pairs To every dreamer in Broward chasing bigger than theirs These stripes ain't just fashion, they the armor you wear When the world try to break you, keep moving, stay rare Legacy in the laces, hope in the tread Adidas on your feet, write the story ahead From the pain in the pavement to the crown on your head South Florida forever... now go run it instead
