Limited listener events

Listener telemetry is on by default when this browser allows local preference storage, and you can turn it off below. When enabled, Music Diary sends a random session ID; random queue and playback-session IDs; song, playlist, surface, queue-position, and prior-song identifiers; player milestones; approximate played and duration seconds; and receipt time. The session ID normally lasts only for this tab. If tab storage is blocked while preference storage still works, a new random ID is used for each event instead. These rows do not contain your name or email and never count as YouTube views or streams.

Events stop contributing after 30 days. Expired rows are deleted during the next event-ingestion or owner-statistics maintenance request, so a dormant database may hold excluded rows beyond their reporting window until that cleanup runs. Deleting the current session also creates a temporary one-way deletion marker, preventing delayed browser requests for that session from recreating rows during the retention window.

The random ID lasts for this browser tab rather than identifying the device indefinitely. Re-enabling telemetry starts a new random session; a failed deletion remains visible for retry. The owner Control Room uses these events as approximate product signals—not as proof of unique people or confirmed listening.

Third-party players

Starting a YouTube or Suno player contacts that service under its own privacy terms. Music Diary does not combine Suno playback with mBaileyz YouTube statistics.

Creator access

Signed-in creator features use an internal access key derived from the signed-in email to enforce ownership and collaboration. Raw member emails and names are not shown in diary access panels. Submitted raw lyrics are used only for the immediate analysis and are not saved.
