Intro
Hey, hey Little red tray, big mood Turn the day up
Verse 1
Cracked phone says 5:03, school bags in the back Little bro by the window with his sneakers unlatched Mom says, “Pick a song,” Dad drums on the wheel Red light turns green, everybody feels
Pre-chorus
Golden hour on the glass, windows down low One quick stop turns into a whole new show Clap twice, breathe in, let the good thing roll
Chorus
Meet me at McDonald’s, pull up, everybody smiling Tray up, day up, whole car riding Fries in the middle, jokes on repeat A little red tray can turn the whole day up Meet me at McDonald’s, light on, door swing Late-night laugh with the radio singing One bite, big vibe, all love, no rush A little red tray can turn the whole day up
Verse 2
Lunch bell hops like a kick drum hit Three friends at a two-seat table making room for six Receipt curls up by the cup on the side Somebody starts a clap, now the whole booth rides
Pre-chorus
Golden hour on the glass, windows down low One quick stop turns into a whole new show Clap twice, breathe in, let the good thing roll
Chorus
Meet me at McDonald’s, pull up, everybody smiling Tray up, day up, whole car riding Fries in the middle, jokes on repeat A little red tray can turn the whole day up Meet me at McDonald’s, light on, door swing Late-night laugh with the radio singing One bite, big vibe, all love, no rush A little red tray can turn the whole day up
Verse 3
11:08, after work, still in my name tag Drive-thru voice says, “How’s your night?” and I laugh Rain on the windshield, bass in the floor I came for a bite, left lighter than before
Verse 4
305 to 954, sun drops by the port Elevator stuck all day, now we’re posted by the curb Red tray on my knees, bright bag in my hand Tiny good thing making big plans
Bridge
Tap-tap, fry shake, hey Tap-tap, tray shake, hey No big speech, no long ride Just everybody on the same side Tap-tap, fry shake, hey Tray up, day up, hey
Verse 5
Little cousin folds a crown from the wrapper crease Grandma saves the extra napkin in the passenger seat Couple by the counter dancing with their coats on Manager smiles when the whole room sings along
