Intro

Five shadows sitting right behind the frosted glass. They say the kingdom's broken, time to let it pass.

Verse 1

Round ears twitching in the dark behind the screen, Talking bout the floral treasure that we haven't seen. Took the shiny objects from the garden just for play, Someone said it's fine but now the price we gotta pay. Feathers in the second seat is leaning to the mic, Angry little silhouette is ready for a strike. Bottles in the cellar vanished without a trace, Storm is brewing heavy right outside the palace space.

Pre-chorus

Interviewer smiling with a secret on her face, Asking bout the rumors running all around the place. Is the magic fading? Is the foundation weak? Listen closely now as the shadows start to speak.

Chorus

Shadows in the kingdom and the lights are getting low, Hiding all the cracks beneath the magic of the show. They say the castle's shining but the walls are closing in, Time to tell the truth about the state that we are in.

Verse 2

Lanky figure scratching at his head in disbelief, Discipline is missing and it’s causing major grief. Suspended for a moment but they're back inside the hall, Yelling at the citizens who came to see it all. Bow-shaped shadow speaks up with a voice that's warm and firm, Watching all the leaders making everybody squirm. You cannot fix a sinking ship by painting on the sail, If the crew is broken then the voyage gonna fail.

Bridge

Lion's mane is glowing faint beneath the studio light, Roaring through the static bout the legacy and fight. Stock winds blowing wild and the subjects restless now, Leader on the mountain needs to take a final bow.

Verse 3

Reputation management cannot protect the crown, Morning shows are stumbling and the ratings going down. Lawyers in the corner nervous bout what we gonna say, Round-eared elder tells 'em there is only just one way. Don't need another makeover to fix the broken patch, Let the curtain fall and build it better from the scratch.

Chorus

Shadows in the kingdom and the lights are getting low, Hiding all the cracks beneath the magic of the show. They say the castle's shining but the walls are closing in, Time to tell the truth about the state that we are in.

Outro

Build it from the scratch. Let the curtain fall. Shadows fading out. (Hard cut)
